Board of Trustees – November 2020

At the November 12 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board approved the 2021-2022 Academic Calendar, a resolution to exempt the campus student housing project from local zoning and land use ordinances, an MOU with the Institute for Higher Education Policy and a contract with TLCD Architecture for Building 3100. Additionally, an initial Proposal for Negotiations with Union of Classified Professionals was shared with the Board.

Miguel Luna Named Viticulturist of the Year

Miguel Luna, partner, Silverado Farming Company, was named Viticulturist of the Year in Wine Enthusiast’s 2020 Wine Star Awards. Luna took classes at Â鶹ӳ»­ in 2000-2004 and then again from 2007-2012, graduating with an AS Degree in Natural Science and Math in 2012.

Â鶹ӳ»­ is the 2019 Northern California recipient of the silver Wellness Award from Kaiser Permanente. The award recognizes the College for its contributions to support its employees to live a healthier life.

Â鶹ӳ»­ joins California Community Colleges (CCC) and its partners across the state for Undocumented Student Action Week, October 19-23, 2020, in an effort to advocate and provide support services for undocumented students throughout our system.
